Well it was a great day to run a race, just not for me. I spent most of the the first 3 miles trying to maneuver the crowd and catch our pace runner and burned a ton of energy doing so while running about a 8:27 mile( which my goal pace for the race was 8:36) for some of you that may not know ,those 9 seconds can make a difference. The beginning of the course was different than last year a there where a lot more hills and more hills thoughtout that I didn't remember.
Long story short I missed my goal of 1:50 by 3 minutes and it was real blow. But after walking around with my head held low for about a week I realized that I did give it everything I had that day and that is really all I can ask of myself.
On to the next challenge, Chicago to qualify for Boston or Triathlons????
